Thank you for your interest in our Porsche Diesel Master 408.

As enthusiasts have already seen, this is the rarest Porsche example! It features the familiar 7-speed transmission and dual row seats.

The 408 Master was originally intended for the American market; only a few original European examples were available. This is one of the rarest original European examples that comes with hydraulics and a lift system.

This Master is in excellent condition. It was fully restored a few years ago.

The 4-cylinder, 50-horsepower engine starts immediately and drives fantastically. The engine is equipped with numerous new parts, and the cylinder heads were recently flattened and pressed.

The engine is also smoke- and oil-free!
The steering box has been completely overhauled and fitted with new, high-quality parts, making this Master steerable with two fingers!
It comes complete with the rare wheel weights and the two original front weights.

The chassis and bodywork were blasted and repainted in the original Porsche color at a paint shop. New wiring, lighting, fuses, and battery.
New seats, seat springs, and new fender seats with cushions.

The 7-speed transmission shifts perfectly and quietly! The brakes work well, including the handbrake.
4 new tires.
The lift system, front and rear PTO, work well.

Crucially, however, is that this Porsche has the same numbers! The engine and chassis numbers match.
Porsche has full German documentation; we can assist and arrange worldwide transport.
A top investment, and only a few examples are known of the limited production run.
After restoration, it will be stored in a dry and warm place in the collection and occasionally visited for small gatherings.
