Impulse SIP 150-6
Basic information
Description
The SIP 150-6 screw impeller pump is designed and built to meet the needs and demands of much of the world without the need for advanced technologies. This mobile pump unit is the simplest and most basic version in our range of 6″ screw impeller pumps.
The Budget configuration is a typical old-fashioned mechanical configuration, has a direct-drive vacuum pump with V-belt without electromagnetic clutch, so the vacuum pump always works even if the screw pump has water.
This configuration has no level control, and the speed must be adjusted manually via the throttle lever on the engine.
This pump is as basic as you could want... Start/Stop with a switch and the RPM has to be adjusted manually. Equipped with float switching though !
However, the pump unit is completely autonomous and equipped with all the elements that Impulse always offers.
It is equipped with its own fuel tank and obviously also designed to perform in the most demanding and harsh conditions in all corners of the world.
The pump set is driven by the robuste aircooled Hatz 2M41 2 cilinder diesel engine with a minimum of electric components. Operating the pump is extremely easy and is managed by the super simple standard controller with all basic engine protection elements only. This control system is stil giving the protection w.r.t. oil presure and temperature safty stops.
